Project Planner – SMPP

About the role

EFS Multi Construction is seeking a skilled Project Planner to support its SMPP capital projects. You will work closely with all departments to ensure projects are accurately scheduled, monitored, and delivered in line with the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Update project status regularly and maintain accurate schedules.
• Negotiate bids and pricing for goods and services ethically.
• Participate in the development of an effective project delivery plan.
• Monitor public policy and law changes that affect project execution.
• Generate and review scopes of work, cost evaluations, and customized specifications for unit renovations.
• Facilitate communication across departments during the planning stage.

Required profile

• Grade 12 / Matric with a degree or formal qualification in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Supply Chain Management.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Lead Project Planner on large construction projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 (certification required).
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling, progress measurement, forecasting, resource planning, critical path analysis, and project controls.
• Valid passport and willingness to relocate outside South Africa.
