Project Manager / Site Lead for SATCOM Operations

About the role

Sev1Tech is looking for an experienced Project Manager/Site Lead to support Space Delta 8, the SATCOM war‑fighting lead for the US Space Force. The role will oversee day‑to‑day operational support for the Wideband Global SATCOM System across multiple CONUS and OCONUS sites.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project planning, execution, and delivery for satellite communications initiatives.
• Coordinate with Space Operations Command and other stakeholders to ensure system modernization and maintenance.
• Provide timely oral briefings and written presentations to senior leadership.
• Maintain continuous availability during duty hours (within 2 hours) and after hours (within 6 hours) for issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with security requirements and contract terms.

Required profile

• Active US Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance (eligible for immediate adjudication).
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 15 years of combined experience in project management, satellite communications, and telecommunications.
• Proven ability to deliver presentations and briefings.
• Availability to respond quickly to operational issues.
