Project Manager – Risk & Compliance (Contract)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading financial services organisation on a six‑month contract. The role focuses on delivering a strategic fraud‑risk initiative within a Risk & Compliance programme, working with both business and technology teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of projects in a Risk and Compliance environment.
• Drive planning, execution, monitoring and reporting across multiple workstreams.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams to achieve project objectives.
• Maintain strong relationships with business, technology and senior stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, issues and dependencies.
• Track budgets, forecasts and overall project financials.
• Facilitate governance, status reporting and steering committee updates.
• Support business readiness, change adoption and implementation activities.

Required profile

• Relevant Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
• Agile and/or SAFe certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience managing projects in a corporate setting.
• Experience working in Agile or SAFe delivery environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage risks, budgets, timelines and dependencies.
• Experience engaging with senior management and executive stakeholders.
