Project Manager – Buildings (Quantity Surveying/HVAC)

About the role

This position offers a Quantity Surveyor or Mechanical (HVAC) Engineer the chance to step into project management, working alongside experienced managers on manufacturing and logistics projects. You will develop coordination, contract and leadership skills while applying your technical background.

Key responsibilities

• Develop project execution plans, including schedules and timelines.
• Coordinate stakeholder inputs and manage design development to meet budget and timeline.
• Oversee procurement, tendering and contract administration, ensuring compliance with legislation.
• Monitor construction progress, quality and organise site meetings and reporting.

Required profile

• Strong leadership and coordination abilities, managing diverse teams.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Self‑driven with a genuine interest in growing into project management.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
• Microsoft Project (or similar scheduling software)
• Knowledge of JBCC tender and contract processes
• Experience with ACC digital coordination tools
• Professional registration (e.g., SACPCMP, PMI) – advantageous
