Project Engineer – Turnkey Mineral Processing Projects

You will integrate process, civil, mechanical, electrical, and C&I disciplines, drive practical solutions under tight timelines, and help shape more sustainable mining practices.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary projects and be accountable for delivery, quality, safety, schedule, and budget.
• Own client relationships and translate operational needs into executable engineering solutions.
• Manage design, procurement, construction, and commissioning across civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation scopes.
• Review designs, compile Functional Design Specifications (FDS), and accept execution responsibility.
• Create project schedules, forecasts, budgets, quotations, orders, payment certificates, and invoicing.
• Ensure compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act and company safety standards.
• Generate and negotiate contracts, manage subcontractors, and oversee site personnel.
• Guarantee work meets quality control plans and QC inspection standards while capturing client feedback.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience as a Project Engineer in mining or heavy engineering.
• BEng or BSc in Mechanical, Electrical, Metallurgical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Project Management qualification is an advantage.
