Project Engineer – High Voltage Electrical Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to lead technical delivery on high‑voltage electrical and civil infrastructure projects. The role spans the full project lifecycle, from design coordination through to commissioning and hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across project execution, ensuring compliance with standards and client requirements.
• Review designs, drawings and technical documentation, supporting value engineering and problem‑solving.
• Oversee construction quality, technical compliance and manage technical risks.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
• Conduct technical evaluations of quotations and specifications.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers.

Required profile

• National Diploma, BTech, BEng or BSc in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• Professional registration (Pr Eng/Pr Tech Eng advantageous).
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in construction, engineering or consulting, with strong exposure to HV electrical or civil infrastructure projects.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with MS Project.
• Knowledge of Primavera.
• Familiarity with Candy.
• Use of BuildSmart software.
