Project Cost Controller – Renewable Energy

About the role

Ready to take control of project profitability in a fast‑growing renewable energy environment? We are seeking an experienced Project Cost Controller to manage the financial performance of large‑scale construction and renewable energy projects from inception through completion.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Project Managers and senior finance stakeholders to oversee project costing, budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management.
• Perform variance analysis, prepare financial reports and provide commercial support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain accurate project cost data, ensure compliance with IFRS and company policies.
• Support decision‑making by delivering timely financial insights and recommendations.

Required profile

• BCom degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5–7 years of experience in project cost control, finance, audit, construction, engineering or renewable energy.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Self‑starter with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and MS Office proficiency.
• Working knowledge of IFRS.
