Project and Delivery Assurance Manager

About the role

The Project and Delivery Assurance Manager will own the assurance function for BSG’s project portfolio, reporting to the Client and Risk Executive. The role combines PMO leadership, delivery‑risk oversight and continuous improvement of governance frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and continuously mature the Project and Delivery Assurance framework across all programmes.
• Lead the PMO effort, establishing measurement standards, reporting mechanisms and baseline monitoring for schedule, scope and budget.
• Provide end‑to‑end delivery assurance, tracking milestones, stakeholder engagement and client experience metrics.
• Develop and present delivery‑quality reports to senior stakeholders, recommending remediation where performance deviates from targets.
• Maintain and improve systems, tools and processes (SharePoint, Dynamics CRM, Teams, ERP) that support assurance activities.
• Ensure risk, quality and stakeholder‑management processes are embedded in sales and delivery teams, and that appropriate training is available.

Required profile

• Matric and a relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., BBusSci, BCom Information Systems, BEng).
• Professional certifications such as PMBOK, PRINCE2 or Agile methodologies.
• 8‑10 years of consulting experience in project delivery with proven governance and risk‑management practice.
• Demonstrated leadership of delivery teams and executive‑level stakeholder management.
• Strong business, commercial and communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
