About the role
An opportunity exists to join a recognised global leader in South Africa as a Project Accountant / Manager. You will provide financial and project accounting support across capital projects and contribute to the execution of minor, low‑risk engineering projects within a manufacturing and engineering environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide project accounting across capital projects.
- Support the execution of minor and low‑risk engineering projects.
- Manage capital expenditure control and financial reporting.
- Support project governance, assurance processes and stakeholder engagement.
- Prepare and maintain project reports, forecasts and budgeting.
- Oversee project costing, financial control and budgeting.
Required profile
- Degree in Financial Management or equivalent.
- Professional accounting qualification (CIMA, CA(SA), CGMA or similar) is advantageous.
- Full proficiency in SAP Financial Management modules.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in finance and auditing.
- Experience in project budgeting, costing and control.
- Exposure to project management systems and procedures is preferred.
