About the role
A well‑established multi‑disciplinary firm of Chartered Accountants based in Cape Town is seeking a technically strong Professional Accountant. The role is ideal for a newly qualified SAIPA trainee who enjoys client interaction, technical accounting, supervising junior staff and delivering accurate financial information.
Key responsibilities
- Interact with clients and deliver accurate financial information.
- Supervise junior staff while performing technical accounting tasks.
Required profile
- Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles (or equivalent relevant experience).
- South African citizen residing in Cape Town with a reliable vehicle and driver’s licence.
- Excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Xero and CaseWare.
- Strong knowledge of VAT, company and individual tax.
- Experience with Pastel Partner and Sage One.
- Solid understanding of IFRS and preparation of statutory and management accounts.
