Production Planner & Road Quality Controller

About the role

Apple Blossom is seeking an experienced Production Planner and Road Quality Controller to oversee garment orders from factory allocation through to delivery. The role combines production scheduling, factory coordination and on‑site quality inspections to ensure garments meet specifications and AQL standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage garment production from order confirmation to final delivery.
• Allocate styles to suitable CMT factories based on capacity, machinery, skills and quality performance.
• Negotiate CMT prices, document agreements and maintain production schedules and critical paths.
• Monitor daily factory performance, identify risks and reallocate work as needed.
• Issue samples, specifications and production instructions; conduct pre‑production meetings.
• Visit factories daily to perform pre‑production, in‑line and final quality inspections against approved samples and measurement charts.
• Inspect cutting, stitching, seam strength, finishing, labeling, ticketing and packing.
• Provide accurate daily and weekly production reports to management.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of clothing manufacturing and CMT factory operations.
• Hands‑on experience in production planning and garment quality control.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines.
• Confident communicator able to negotiate with factories and resolve issues promptly.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining AQL quality standards.
