Production Manager

About the role

The Production Manager will lead the planning and coordination of feed manufacturing processes, ensuring that products are produced efficiently, at the right cost and with the required quality standards. This role is central to maintaining smooth operations across all stages of feed production.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate the entire feed manufacturing workflow, from raw material intake to final product dispatch.
• Manage core processes including storage, grinding, batching, mixing, pelleting and dispatch.
• Monitor equipment performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost overall equipment efficiency.
• Control stock levels and ensure accurate inventory management.
• Collaborate with quality, maintenance and logistics teams to resolve operational issues.
• Implement cost‑control measures while maintaining product quality.

Required profile

• Proven experience in feed mill or similar manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of feed production processes and equipment.
• Ability to lead and motivate a production team.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on cost optimisation and quality assurance.
• Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills.
