Production Inventory Controller – LN Infor

About the role

Our client in Kempton Park is looking for a Production Inventory Controller to join their team. The role involves ensuring accurate and compliant management of inventory within the production environment. It bridges a critical operational gap identified during the implementation of the LN Infor ERP system, especially around goods receiving, stock accuracy, and material issuance to production.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and execute the goods receiving process in alignment with LN Infor ERP workflows, verify incoming raw materials, consumables and subcontracted items, and resolve discrepancies with procurement and suppliers.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through continuous monitoring, conduct monthly cycle counts, and monitor inventory levels to support production planning and prevent shortages.
• Develop and enforce best practices for issuing raw materials and components to production orders, ensure timely picking and issuing in LN Infor, and reconcile issued versus consumed materials.
• Manage the movement and tracking of materials sent for subcontracting, ensuring all subcontractor receipts, returns and consumptions are accurately recorded.

Required profile

• Matric Diploma or Certificate in Supply Chain, Inventory Management or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of experience in inventory control or production logistics.
• Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing environments, preferably LN Infor.
• Understanding of production processes, BOMs and material flows.
• Strong audit and reconciliation skills.
