Production Foreman – Material Preparation & CNC Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, hands‑on Production Foreman to lead our Material Preparation and CNC Manufacturing operations. In this senior production leadership position you will ensure safe, efficient and cost‑effective preparation of materials that support our fabrication and assembly lines.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and prioritize departmental work to meet production and project deadlines using the ERP/MRP system.
• Supervise the safe operation of CNC machining centres, horizontal boring mills, press brakes, laser and plasma cutting machines.
• Interpret engineering drawings, review job packs and use 2D/3D nesting software to maximise material utilisation.
• Manage work orders, machine loading, labour allocation and monitor production progress.
• Identify bottlenecks, drive continuous‑improvement initiatives and support Lean manufacturing practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a CNC‑driven manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of ERP/MRP production planning and data capture.
• Ability to lead a skilled team, allocate resources and resolve technical challenges.
• Commitment to safety, quality standards and continuous improvement.
