Production Foreman – Manufacturing

About the role

The Production Foreman will oversee daily operations in a manufacturing plant, ensuring that water, air, steam, and all equipment function correctly to deliver high‑quality products. This onsite role requires close monitoring of processes, waste handling, and packaging materials while maintaining strict compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage water, air, and steam usage to meet product specifications.
• Ensure proper operation of evaporators, aseptic machines, oil operators, FMC operators, oil recovery plant, cell recovery plant, seals, and pasteurizer.
• Handle waste according to defined specifications.
• Control packaging material inventory for various products.
• Continuously monitor equipment to detect and prevent malfunctions.
• Oversee, document, and control CIP (Clean‑In‑Place) procedures.
• Maintain good manufacturing practices and complete required documentation.
• Adhere to disciplinary codes and perform additional duties during off‑season periods.

Required profile

• Grade 12 education with Mathematics and Science.
• Computer literacy (Excel, Word).
• Basic maintenance experience on machine pumps.
• Fundamental technical knowledge of plant equipment.
• Understanding of basic quality testing and factors affecting product quality.
• Strong planning, organising, and controlling abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
