Production Assistant

About the role

We are building a next‑generation sports broadcasting platform that delivers fast‑paced, high‑quality programming to a South African audience, with a strong focus on football. The Production Assistant provides essential studio support, enabling technical and production teams to run live and recorded broadcasts smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with studio setup and strike, including cabling and equipment positioning.
• Support technical and production teams during live broadcasts.
• Manage floor operations, timing, and cueing.
• Ensure all equipment and studio areas are ready for each show.
• Handle ad‑hoc tasks and urgent production requirements.
• Support presenters, analysts, and guests as needed.
• Perform basic operational tasks such as operating the autocue and handling scripts.
• Maintain overall studio organization and readiness.

Required profile

• 0–2 years experience in media, events, or production environments.
• Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and ability to work under pressure.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends.
• Excellent attention to detail and proactive attitude.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Interest in technical production roles and passion for sports content.
• Experience in live TV, events, or sports production is a plus.
• Basic understanding of broadcast equipment.
