Product Manager – CNS & Anti-Infectives Portfolio

About the role

Responsible for building brands and improving market share for CNS and anti‑infective products. The role includes product planning, marketing, and representative training, managing the product lifecycle and collaborating with Sales and Regulatory Affairs to launch viable products in South Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute brand strategies to increase market share.
• Plan and manage product lifecycle from launch to maturity.
• Provide training for sales representatives on product knowledge.
• Collaborate with Sales and Regulatory Affairs to ensure compliance and market readiness.
• Analyse market trends and support business decisions with Rx and IMS data.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience in pharmaceutical or marketing industry.
• Relevant tertiary qualification such as MBA, BSc, BPharm or BA in Marketing.
• At least 6 years product management experience within generic companies.
• Extensive knowledge of anti‑infectives and CNS therapies and relationships with KOLs.

Required skills

• Ability to interpret, analyse and present Rx data.
• Proficiency in analysing IMS market data.
• Strong market trend analysis capabilities.
