Product & Campaigns Manager

About the role

Jem is a fast‑growing HR‑tech scale‑up building payroll, HR and benefits tools for frontline teams in South Africa. The Product & Campaigns Manager will own the Jem Mobile portfolio – SIMs, devices and value‑added services – and drive its growth end‑to‑end, from pricing and lifecycle management through to data‑driven campaign execution.

Key responsibilities

• Define and manage the SIM, device and VAS range, set pricing, bundles and promotions, and oversee the full product lifecycle from concept to retirement.
• Run a high‑cadence, data‑driven campaigns engine covering acquisition, cross‑sell, upsell and drop‑off recovery, continuously testing and optimizing offers.
• Map and improve the customer journey, automate campaign execution with product and engineering teams, and own growth metrics such as registrations, conversion, revenue, GP and ARPU.
• Negotiate with suppliers in partnership with Supply Chain, securing price, rebates and support.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in product, category, commercial or lifecycle management, preferably in a fast‑moving scale‑up environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret revenue, GP, margin and ARPU dashboards and translate insights into action.
• Commercially‑driven attitude, able to balance customer value with profitability and defend range decisions with data.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with CRM or campaign‑management tooling.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Canva or Figma for short‑form copy and visual assets.
