Procurement Manager

About the role

Tashas Group is seeking a proactive, commercially‑minded Procurement Manager to lead procurement activities across its South African restaurant operations. You will ensure that all purchasing decisions support the brand’s commitment to quality, consistency and value while enabling exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
• Source, evaluate and onboard reliable suppliers that share Tashas’ standards for quality and service.
• Negotiate favourable commercial terms and manage supplier contracts to maximise value.
• Oversee purchasing processes, monitor purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand and align procurement with operational needs.
• Identify cost‑optimisation opportunities without compromising quality.
• Conduct supplier risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to protect the supply chain.
• Prepare procurement reports, analyse spend data and recommend continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably within hospitality or a related fast‑paced environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of negotiating and managing supplier relationships.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic sourcing plans that support business growth.
• Excellent analytical skills for monitoring spend, assessing risk and driving cost efficiencies.
