Procurement Administrator – Sandton, Johannesburg

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized Procurement Administrator to support the senior procurement manager in our electrical automotive business. The role involves sourcing components, processing purchase orders, maintaining supplier relationships and ensuring accurate administrative records.

Key responsibilities

• Source automotive consumables and related electrical products.
• Obtain, compare and evaluate supplier quotations.
• Raise and process purchase orders, and follow up on delivery schedules.
• Maintain supplier pricing, lead times and procurement records.
• Assist in negotiating pricing and contract terms with suppliers.
• Identify alternative suppliers to improve cost savings and continuity.
• Ensure stock availability to meet operational requirements.
• Capture procurement data, prepare reports and reconcile supplier statements.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in administration, procurement, buying or stock control.
• Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proactive team player with solid planning and organizational skills.

What we offer

• Salary range R15,000 – R20,000 per month.
