Procurement Administrator

About the role

The global IT services provider is seeking a Procurement Administrator to support its operations team in Sandton, Johannesburg. You will ensure smooth end‑to‑end purchase order processing while maintaining strong governance and supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, process and manage purchase orders from creation to completion.
• Support the Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) cycle, validating and updating PO changes as business needs evolve.
• Maintain up‑to‑date supplier contracts and correctly file related documentation.
• Update and revise data in procurement tools and systems.
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms with suppliers.
• Source, onboard and evaluate new suppliers following proper procedures.
• Select suppliers based on reliability, quality and cost‑efficiency.
• Enforce procurement policies and procedures.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in procurement or purchasing administration.
• Familiarity with procurement systems and a strong focus on data accuracy.
• Effective communication skills for supplier engagement and basic negotiation.
• High attention to detail and disciplined process orientation.
• Relevant certificate or diploma in Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance or a related field (preferred).
