Process Pharmacist – East London

About the role

The Process Pharmacist will lead the receipt, storage, packing and dispatch of finished pharmaceutical products in our East London facility. You will ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements while optimizing the flow of goods from receipt to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee distribution activities, verify orders and attach data loggers.
• Generate reports and analysis related to shipment data.
• Manage quarantine shipments, permit processes and fridge‑line items.
• Handle Schedule 5 and Schedule 6 items in accordance with legal requirements.
• Control the complete flow of finished goods from receipt to dispatch, adhering to GDP, GMP and GWP guidelines.
• Coordinate the destruction of obsolete stock, including SBFs, ERP transactions and approvals.
• Plan daily, weekly and monthly activities, prioritising tasks and allocating resources.
• Maintain accurate records, file documentation and support query resolution.
• Promote diversity, equal opportunity and execute the company’s EE and Workplace Skills plans.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution regulations (GDP, GMP, GWP).
• Experience managing Schedule 5/6 items and quarantine shipments.
• Proven ability to plan, prioritise and manage resources in a manufacturing environment.
• Attention to detail with excellent record‑keeping and reporting skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems for inventory and destruction processes.
• Ability to operate data loggers and generate related reports.
