About the role

An engineering company based in Airport Industria, Cape Town, is seeking a Project Manager to manage process engineering projects from inception through to completion.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage process engineering projects from inception through to completion.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to required quality standards.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and liaise with clients, contractors and suppliers.
  • Apply effective project planning, organisational practices and financial/commercial awareness.
  • Negotiate with stakeholders, resolve problems and make sound decisions.

Required profile

  • A degree or diploma in Process, Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
  • Project‑management qualification such as PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent.
  • 5–8 years’ project‑management experience in a process engineering environment.
  • Valid driver’s licence.
  • High level of integrity, accountability and client‑focused approach.

Required skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience using ERP systems.
