About the role
The Municipality is seeking a Process Controller for its coastal bulk water supply operations. The role involves overseeing treatment processes, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring reliable water delivery to the community.
Key responsibilities
- Enter logistical data on registers and maintain storage and pumping records.
- Monitor outlying reservoirs by recording water levels.
- Supervise staff involved in water treatment and distribution.
- Control and adjust treatment processes to meet quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with operational procedures and safety regulations.
Required profile
- Minimum Grade 10 or N1 Water Treatment/Water Care certificate (NQF level 2).
- Registered as a Class 2 Process Controller.
- Valid code B/EB driver’s licence.
- At least five (5) years’ experience at a recognised water‑treatment plant.
- Ability to plan, organise and communicate effectively.
