Postpaid Commissions Finance Manager

About the role

The Postpaid Commissions Finance Manager will lead the planning, accounting and control of commission‑related financial processes for the postpaid business. This role ensures accurate month‑end close, compliance with IFRS and internal policies, and drives continuous improvement of commission systems.

Key responsibilities

• Provide input to departmental business plans, budgets and forecasts, assessing financial and customer impact of initiatives.
• Manage end‑to‑end month‑end close for commission accounts, including accruals, provisions, journals and reconciliations.
• Develop and maintain commission forecasting models, perform variance analysis and prepare management commentary.
• Oversee commission and claims processing, ensuring accurate calculations, approvals and timely payments to partners and employees.
• Lead automation and system migration projects, define business rules and validate UAT/SIT testing.
• Design and enforce commission governance frameworks, monitor risks, and support internal and external audits.
• Identify process optimisation opportunities, implement improvements and maintain business continuity plans.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and corporate accounting policies.
• Experience with General Ledger accounting and month‑end close processes.
• Proficiency in building commission forecasting models and variance analysis.
• Familiarity with UAT and SIT testing for finance systems.
• Ability to prepare audit evidence and support internal/external audit reviews.
