Post Article SAIPA Accountant – Audit & Accounting Firm

About the role

Join a dynamic medium‑sized audit and accounting firm in Tygervalley as a Post Article SAIPA Accountant. You will support a diverse client portfolio, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with South African tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of corporate, individual and trust clients.
• Compile annual financial statements and perform independent reviews.
• Submit monthly VAT returns and calculate provisional taxes.
• Prepare and lodge income tax returns for companies, individuals and trusts.
• Liaise with the South African Revenue Service (SARS) on tax matters.

Required profile

• Recognised accounting degree.
• Completed SAIPA articles.
• South African citizenship with a valid driver’s licence and own car.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication in Afrikaans and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Experience using Caseware.
• Familiarity with Xero and Pastel accounting software.
