Portfolio Specialist – Investment Reporting & Marketing

About the role

We help financial advisers cut through investment complexity with clarity and confidence. The Portfolio Specialist will support investment reporting and marketing, creating insightful commentary, pitchbooks and thought‑leadership content for a range of client segments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain monthly and quarterly investment reports, strategy‑level client reporting and performance commentaries.
• Create and update standard and bespoke pitchbooks, investment viewpoints, and thought‑leadership pieces.
• Produce marketing positioning and collateral for new products, including launch packs, brochures and multimedia assets.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers, client groups, risk & performance teams to ensure timely and accurate commentary.
• Monitor industry news, political and economic developments and translate them into client‑relevant updates.
• Work closely with brand, design and digital teams to design and disseminate impactful campaigns.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in technical marketing or portfolio specialist roles with a strong focus on investment writing.
• Degree with emphasis in communications, English or economics; CFA qualification or progress towards it is desirable.
• Strong interest in political and economic developments and ability to write for institutional, adviser and direct‑investor audiences.
• Proven ability to produce high‑quality written, edited and proof‑read investment commentary and marketing material.
