Plumbing Claims Administrator

About the role

The Plumbing Claims Administrator plays a critical role in ensuring exceptional service delivery to customers and their clients by managing plumbing‑related claims with efficiency, integrity, and cost‑consciousness. The role involves close collaboration with contractors to uphold service standards and overseeing the full lifecycle of plumbing claims.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure customers and their clients receive the best possible service.
• Manage all plumbing claims efficiently, frugally and with integrity.
• Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction.
• Build sustainable relationships of trust with customers and their clients.
• Provide accurate, valid and complete information using correct procedures.
• Offer appropriate solutions and alternatives to keep the claim process seamless.
• Effectively manage large volumes of processing related to operational requirements.
• Follow Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and related policies.
• Stay up‑to‑date with operational changes and implement them.
• Drive SLA and turnaround‑time adherence through proactive communication.
• Support and coach contractors to ensure high‑quality service delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4; diploma or certificate in Business Administration is advantageous.
• Experience in customer service and contractor liaison.
• Computer literate with basic proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks and maintain composure under pressure.
• Meticulous attention to detail while handling high volumes of work.
• Knowledge or exposure to plumbing, solar PV, heat‑pump or related home‑service environments is a plus.

• Knowledge of plumbing, solar PV and heat‑pump systems.
