Platform Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Platform Engineer to design, build and operate scalable cloud infrastructure for our customers. The role focuses on Azure and AWS environments, Kubernetes clusters and automation of deployment pipelines. You will work remotely within a collaborative engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on Azure and/or AWS.
• Deploy, manage and optimise production‑grade Kubernetes clusters and containerised workloads.
• Develop, enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or GitLab CI.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code solutions with Terraform and/or Bicep.
• Automate Linux system administration tasks using Bash and Python scripting.
• Ensure platform security, compliance and high availability in regulated environments.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking and performance issues.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve reliability and efficiency of the platform.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–7+ years of experience in cloud/platform engineering or DevOps.
• Hands‑on experience with production Kubernetes and cloud‑native infrastructure.
• Experience working in regulated, enterprise or financial‑services environments is a plus.
• Relevant cloud or Kubernetes certifications are beneficial but not mandatory.
