Plant Operator – Electronic Testing (Fixed-Term)

About the role

The Plant Operator will be responsible for operating electronic testing equipment to verify electronic initiation system e‑boards after the moulding process. The role involves cleaning, visual inspection, packaging, and accurate record‑keeping to ensure product quality and traceability.

Key responsibilities

• Operate electronic testing equipment to perform functional tests on e‑boards.
• Identify and isolate faulty boards during testing.
• Maintain accurate production logs, recording pass/fail status.
• Package e‑boards according to defined procedures, observing ESD precautions.
• Label and document packaged units to ensure traceability.
• Conduct detailed visual inspections to detect defects or non‑conformances.
• Verify that testing and production equipment is ready at the start of each shift.
• Keep the workstation clean, organised, and compliant throughout the shift.
• Report production data and quality issues in a timely manner.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures.
• Capability to work on a shift schedule in a manufacturing environment.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of product quality and safety.

Required skills

• Operation of electronic testing equipment.
