Picker and Packer – Dispatch Team

About the role

Babylonstoren is looking for a reliable and efficient Picker and Packer to join its dispatch team. The successful candidate ensures that customer orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately, on time and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Pick products from stock accurately according to order sheets.
• Pack orders securely and correctly, protecting products and labelling them properly.
• Prepare goods for dispatch, including palletising, wrapping and loading.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the dispatch and storage areas.
• Carry out quality and quantity checks before dispatch.
• Fill in traceability sheets accurately.
• Assist with stock rotation and inventory counts when required.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Report any discrepancies, damages or shortages promptly to the Dispatch/Warehouse Manager.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a warehouse, dispatch or logistics environment is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
