Pick-Up Shop Sales Consultant

About the role

The Pick‑Up Shop Sales Consultant will act as a brand ambassador for Würth South Africa, driving sales and providing after‑sales support in the Silverton shop. The role combines direct customer interaction, telephone prospecting and shop‑floor merchandising to meet revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly over‑the‑counter revenue and order targets.
• Make a minimum of 50 outbound sales calls per day and attract at least 20 customers to the shop daily.
• Generate new and reactivated business, aiming for 10 new/reactivated customers each month.
• Process orders, returns, and assist with payment collections and credit support.
• Maintain inventory, update shop displays, and conduct visual merchandising using brochures and catalogues.
• Prepare parcels for collection or shipment and ensure timely stock takes.

Required profile

• Matric or equivalent qualification.
• Reside within 15 km of the shop.
• Minimum two years of sales or customer‑service experience.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
• Self‑motivated, goal‑driven and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Reliable transport and clear disciplinary, criminal, and credit records.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Basic knowledge of SAP (advantageous).
