Photographer – Live Events & Content Creator

About the role

Get Real is South Africa’s leading platform for concerts and live music tours. The company is looking for a world‑class Photographer to join its internal operations, acting as a lead marketing visionary who captures the magic of its cultural movement.

Key responsibilities

• Document high‑energy performances, crowd engagement, and world‑class production value across all tour dates.
• Edit and process raw imagery into polished, on‑brand assets for digital marketing and social media use.
• Maintain high Office Administrator standards for digital filing, ensuring all work is correctly labeled and accessible.
• Collaborate with the Graphic Designer and leadership to plan a monthly content calendar that reflects brand goals.
• Capture “moments and memories” that resonate with fans, creating content designed for high virality.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or photographer in the live music and nightlife sector.
• High proficiency with professional DSLR/Mirrorless systems and editing software such as Lightroom and Photoshop.
• Ability to scout and capture the best angles during a live event without needing constant direction.
• Talent for visual storytelling and writing visual copy that speaks to both fans and corporate partners.
• Precision in capturing the Get Real “look,” ensuring every image enhances brand credibility.
