Pharmacy Manager – Retail Pharmacy

About the role

The Pharmacy Manager will lead the dispensary and clinic at Clicks Selcourt Towers, ensuring efficient operations, high‑quality pharmaceutical care and achievement of sales and compliance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver accurate and safe dispensing, including generic substitution and patient counselling in line with SAPC regulations.
• Manage stock, shrinkage, housekeeping and administrative tasks to meet merchandising and legal standards.
• Oversee financial performance of the dispensary, control expenses and drive core sales and clinic targets.
• Recruit, coach and develop pharmacy staff, learners and interns to build a capable team.
• Schedule staff according to labour policies, maintain attendance records and ensure full staffing levels.
• Implement customer‑service initiatives that boost loyalty, club‑card participation and overall experience.
• Coordinate with the in‑store clinic to provide a comprehensive health offering.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience after community service.
• At least 1 year of people‑management experience.
• Registered Responsible Pharmacist with the South African Pharmacy Council.
• Registered Pharmacist qualification.
