Pharmacist Assistant – Post Basic

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist Assistant (Post‑Basic) to join Medirite River Park’s pharmacy team with an immediate start. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a registered pharmacist, supporting daily dispensing operations and handling essential administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in dispensing medication and preparing prescriptions.
• Maintain accurate stock levels and perform inventory control.
• Handle pharmacy‑related administrative duties, including record keeping and documentation.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy work area.
• Provide front‑shop service, greeting customers and addressing basic inquiries.

Required profile

• Qualified Pharmacist Assistant with a Post‑Basic certification.
• Ability to work under pharmacist supervision and follow standard operating procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Good communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
