Pharmacist Assistant (Post-Basic)

About the role

Medirite Welkom is seeking a qualified Pharmacist Assistant (Post‑Basic) to join the pharmacy team immediately. The successful candidate will support the pharmacist in dispensing medication and handling a range of pharmacy‑related administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate stock control and inventory records.
• Assist with dispensing medication under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Perform routine administrative duties such as record keeping and documentation.
• Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the pharmacy work area.
• Provide front‑shop service, greeting customers and addressing basic inquiries.

Required profile

• Qualified Post‑Basic Pharmacy Assistant certification.
• Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
