Pharmacist Assistant (2 positions) – Itonka Square

About the role

Clicks Group Limited is seeking two Pharmacist Assistants to join its pharmacy at Itonka Square in Kwa‑thema. The role involves providing pharmaceutical care within the scope of practice and supporting day‑to‑day dispensary operations in line with company SOPs.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑standard customer service and health advice.
• Manage stock control, repack medicines and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Perform dispensary administration, including accurate compounding and prescription processing.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and ensure attractive merchandise display.
• Adhere to legal and regulatory requirements, including SAPC guidelines.
• Support ad‑hoc operational tasks as required.

Required profile

• Matriculation with Mathematics (essential).
• Qualified as a Pharmacist Assistant according to the Health Professions Council of South Africa (qualified, post‑basic or learner‑basic).
• Strong product knowledge of health‑aisle and OTC items.
• Integrity, ethical work practice and attention to detail.
• Team‑player attitude and customer‑service orientation.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
