About the role
We are looking for a dynamic Petshop Manager to lead our pet store operations while upholding the Checkers Pet Science brand standards. The role involves overseeing daily activities, ensuring a welcoming environment for customers and their pets, and driving the store’s financial performance.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate operational, administrative and managerial tasks to align with the brand image.
- Supervise stock levels, ordering, and inventory control to guarantee product availability.
- Lead, schedule and develop store staff, fostering a high‑performing team.
- Implement and monitor security procedures in line with company standards.
- Analyze sales data and implement strategies to maximise profitability.
Required profile
- Proven experience managing a retail store or pet‑shop environment.
- Strong organisational and leadership abilities.
- Ability to maintain brand standards and ensure compliance with security policies.
- Commercial mindset with focus on profitability.
