About the role
Ecowize is seeking a certified and experienced Pest Control & Hygiene Technician for its Cape Town division. The role involves assessing pest control needs, selecting appropriate treatment solutions, and delivering a consistently high standard of service to customers.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect buildings, facilities and surrounding areas for signs of insects, rodents and other pests.
- Identify infestations and determine the most suitable treatment method.
- Apply approved chemical treatments, powders, gases, baits and other pest control products following safety standards.
- Manage a range of pests including rats, termites, snakes, wasps, ants, spiders, mosquitoes and bed bugs.
- Set and maintain mechanical traps and strategically place bait as required.
- Safely remove and dispose of rodents and other pests after treatment.
- Plan and complete services according to customer agreements, maintaining accountability for equipment and consumables.
