Permanent Part‑time Retail Associate – Meadowdale

About the role

This permanent part‑time position supports the day‑to‑day operations of an adidas store in Meadowdale. You will deliver excellent customer service, maintain store standards, and help drive sales while working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of adidas service to every customer.
• Process sales transactions (cash, credit, checks) accurately.
• Assist with product ticketing, paperwork verification, and stockroom‑to‑floor flow.
• Help develop and maintain merchandise displays following management guidelines.
• Use the point‑of‑sale system efficiently and learn its features.
• Apply selling techniques such as add‑on sales and technical product explanations.
• Greet customers, act as a front‑door greeter during busy periods, and assist them in finding the right products.
• Maintain general housekeeping, including store cleaning.
• Support loss‑prevention efforts by monitoring the sales floor and reporting suspicious activity.
• Participate in in‑store or digital training (Atticus/AREA) and become familiar with Power BI tools for store performance insights.

Required profile

• Passion for retail and customer service.
• Clear, upbeat communication and initiative.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
• Enthusiasm for fashion and confidence in styling customers.
• Matric certificate; 0‑1 years retail experience (fashion experience valued but not required).

Required skills

• Proficiency with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
• Basic knowledge of Power BI for performance analysis.
