Permanent Part-Time Retail Associate

About the role

This permanent part‑time position supports store management in daily operations while delivering excellent customer service. You will work on the sales floor, assist with stock flow, and help maintain store standards in a fast‑paced adidas environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of adidas service to every customer.
• Process sales transactions, including cash, credit and checks.
• Assist with product ticketing, paperwork verification, and stockroom to sales‑floor flow.
• Help develop and maintain merchandise displays according to management guidelines.
• Use the point‑of‑sale system efficiently and apply selling techniques such as add‑on sales.
• Greet customers, act as a front‑door greeter during busy periods, and guide them to suitable products.
• Maintain store cleanliness and general housekeeping standards.
• Support loss‑prevention efforts, monitor the sales floor and report suspicious activity.
• Participate in in‑store or digital training (Atticus/AREA) and become familiar with Power BI tools for store performance insights.

Required profile

• Passion for retail and customer service.
• Clear, upbeat communication and initiative.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• Matric certificate; 0‑1 years of retail experience (fashion retail a plus).
• Ability to thrive in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Point‑of‑sale system operation.
• Basic proficiency with Power BI.
