Part‑Time Financial Adviser – Morningside, Durban

About the role

Old Mutual is seeking a motivated Part‑Time Financial Adviser to join its Morningside, Durban team. The role is designed for individuals who already hold a position and wish to supplement their income by providing professional financial advice to an existing network.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver tailored financial advice to clients within the in‑segment market.
• Maintain compliance with DOFA/Fit & Proper regulations.
• Identify and pursue sales opportunities, managing sales data and documentation.
• Build and nurture trusted relationships with customers through consultative selling.

Required profile

• Minimum education: NQF Level 4 – Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle.
• Clear criminal and credit background checks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to plan, organise, analyse and synthesise information.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with sound business acumen and resilience.
