Part‑Time Financial Adviser (Durban)

About the role

Old Mutual is seeking a part‑time Financial Adviser to join its team in Durban. The role is designed for individuals who already hold a position and wish to supplement their income by providing professional financial advice to clients within the company’s network.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver financial advice and solutions to existing and prospective clients while maintaining compliance with DOFA and Fit‑and‑Proper regulations.
• Leverage personal vehicle to meet clients across Westville, Chesterville, Sherwood and the greater Durban area.
• Analyse client information, synthesize recommendations and support sales opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records using sales data management tools.

Required profile

• Minimum education: NQF Level 4 – Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s licence and own car.
• Clear criminal and credit record.
• Proven computer literacy and digital dexterity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong planning, organisational and analytical abilities.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with business acumen and resilience.
