Part-Time SafetyCloud Samtrac Trainer (Newcastle)

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time Samtrac trainer to deliver Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) training under the SafetyCloud platform in Newcastle. The role supports learners in meeting SAQA, SETA, NOSA and QCTO standards while promoting best practices in SHE legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop and prepare training sessions, including materials and functional equipment.
• Deliver training tailored to learners’ knowledge, language and cultural backgrounds.
• Facilitate courses in line with SAQA, SETA, NOSA and QCTO requirements and internal quality systems.
• Conduct assessments, moderation and provide confidential feedback according to SETA/NOSA codes.
• Compile and manage Portfolios of Evidence (PoE) following assessment guidelines.
• Promote NOSA offerings, engage clients and identify business opportunities during sessions.
• Maintain valid Assessor and Moderator registrations with relevant SETAs and submit proof to the Training Manager.
• Participate in continuous professional development to stay current with SHE and ETD practices.

Required profile

• Experience delivering SHE training and familiarity with SAQA, SETA, NOSA and QCTO standards.
• Ability to assess learners, moderate assessments and manage confidential feedback.
• Strong organisational skills for preparing materials and managing PoE.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and compliance with quality management systems.
