Part Time Financial Advisor

About the role

Old Mutual is seeking a motivated Part‑Time Financial Advisor to join its Johannesburg team. This role is designed for individuals who already hold a position but wish to supplement their income by providing professional financial advice to clients within an established market segment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver tailored financial advice to existing and prospective clients.
• Identify and develop sales opportunities through consultative selling.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales data.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with DOFA/Fit & Proper standards.
• Utilise digital tools to analyse client information and prepare recommendations.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 education.
• Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle.
• Clear criminal and credit record.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with resilience and tenacity.

Required skills

• Computer literacy and digital dexterity.
• Ability to collate, analyse and synthesise information.
• Sales orientation and consultative selling techniques.
