About the role
Old Mutual is seeking a motivated Part‑Time Financial Adviser to serve clients in Mthatha and surrounding areas. This role is designed for individuals who already hold a position and wish to supplement their income by providing professional financial advice.
Key responsibilities
- Offer tailored financial advice to existing networks and new prospects.
- Leverage access to in‑segment markets to identify sales opportunities.
- Maintain current employment while delivering advisory services on a part‑time basis.
- Build and sustain trusted relationships with customers through consultative selling.
Required profile
- Minimum education: NQF Level 4 – Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle.
- Clear criminal and credit background checks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent planning, organising, and analytical abilities.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with sound business acumen.
- Resilience, tenacity, and a sales‑oriented attitude.
