About the role

Old Mutual is seeking a motivated individual to join its team as a Part‑Time Financial Adviser in Morningside, Durban. This role is designed for someone who wishes to retain an existing position while supplementing income by providing professional financial advice to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Offer financial advice to clients while maintaining your current role.
• Leverage your existing network to identify and develop sales opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with DOFA/Fit & Proper standards.

Required profile

• Minimum education: NQF Level 4 – Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s licence and own car.
• Clear criminal and credit check.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Planning, organising and analytical abilities.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with business acumen.
• Resilience, grit and tenacity.

Required skills

• Computer literacy and digital dexterity.
• Proficiency with sales software.
• Ability to manage sales data.
