About the role

Old Mutual is seeking a motivated Part‑Time Financial Adviser to join its Morningside Durban team. The role is designed for individuals who already hold a position elsewhere and wish to supplement their income by providing professional financial advice to an existing client network.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver tailored financial advice to clients in the in‑segment market.
• Leverage personal network to identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Maintain compliance with DOFA/Fit & Proper regulations.
• Conduct client meetings, assess needs, and propose suitable solutions.
• Prepare and present financial plans, ensuring clarity and accuracy.

Required profile

• Minimum education: NQF Level 4 – Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle.
• Clear criminal and credit record.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong business acumen.
• Resilience, grit and a results‑driven attitude.

Required skills

• Computer literacy and digital dexterity.
• Proficiency with sales‑related software tools.
