Packhouse Manager – Nut Processing Facility (Hazyview)

About the role

The packhouse manager will lead all operations at a fast‑growing nut processing facility in Hazyview, Mpumalanga. This hands‑on leader will own the end‑to‑end flow from intake, drying and sorting to storage and dispatch, ensuring quality, safety and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage packhouse intake processes, including weighing, documentation, sampling and initial quality inspections.
• Oversee the complete drying cycle, maintaining product quality standards.
• Implement and maintain strict inventory control across storage and processing stages.
• Optimise workflow between drying chambers, sorting lines, storage areas and downstream processing.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Lead, train and motivate warehouse staff to achieve operational targets.

Required profile

• Clear criminal record and no outstanding debt or defaults.
• Valid South African driver’s licence.
• Willingness to work on‑site in a production environment and relocate to Hazyview.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive under pressure.
