Packaging Executive – Sustainable E‑commerce Packaging

About the role

Amazon is seeking a Packaging Executive to lead the development and scaling of sustainable e‑commerce packaging standards across its global supply chain. You will work with cross‑functional teams to reduce waste, improve customer experience, and generate cost savings.

Key responsibilities

• Manage new and existing packaging programs, delivering projects on time and within scope.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Category, Finance, Procurement, Data Science and Global Packaging teams to design scalable solutions.
• Secure resources, define project priorities, set milestones and drive delivery alongside other program managers.
• Own program communication, clear blockers, and escalate issues as needed.
• Influence packaging design and associated processes to improve sustainability.
• Provide post‑launch support, conduct post‑mortems, and drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate progress updates and communicate improvements to stakeholders.
• Perform data analytics and root‑cause analysis to identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Experience in an operational role, preferably within a large, fast‑paced organization.
• Proven ability to drive projects and strategic initiatives to completion.
• Strong problem‑solving, innovative thinking and ability to thrive in ambiguous environments.
